Hello Sven,

I am afraid there is no button to export bookmarks, but the bookmark file is located in this folder ---> C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\SZBrowser\profile\***USER NAME***

You can copy it from here to keep a backup of this/ import it into other browsers.

hey,
last week my computer crashed and today i got my new one.
right now i try to copy the files you told me to backup.
but i am told that i cannot copy them to this folder because administrator rights are required to copy into this folder.
what do i have to do?
many thanks,
sven

with drag&drop
but right click => copy => paste does not work either

i checked "settings -> account " and there is my user account and its said: local account / administrator.
when i check the rights for the avast folder i have no rights at all.
so i am pretty confused

no, its a new notebook.
i made backups of the bookmark files mentioned above once a week on an usb stick.

so today i downloaded avast premiere again and connected with my subscription.
and i try to copy these from my usb backup to the above mentioned folder.

Looks like you need to take ownership of the folder/files first.

Try to copy the files in safe-mode or use e.g. a Linux live cd to boot and copy them with that.

oh man, thank you so much.
would love to buy you a beer ;)
safe-mode did the job.
