What avast version are you using ?
The reason I ask, quality aside your avast icon is a different colour than mine on the latest avast version, 2016.11.2.2262.

Whilst the quality on mine (on firefox 46.0.1) isn't brilliant, but the same is true of many other icons there either.

It can be because of the theme that is used in FireFox

The theme shouldn't make any difference to the colour of the avast icon, that would be the same for other icons, they are intellectual property in a way, so shouldn't be modified.

If this is the system tray icon, then I'm a monkey's uncle, unless he has the system tray at the top of the screen.

Well here is mine from the taskbar on the bottom, the quality on mine looks slightly better.

Some things in posting an image may actually degrade the image posted your .png on the clip2net may have an impact. I prefer to post/attach images directly to the post and I also used the .png format of my Snagit10 image capture program.

Your 2nd image on slip2net still seems a bit pixelated compared to mine.
