how to register my device
« on: November 11, 2015, 01:48:08 PM »
hi ,

I have installed avast mobile security on my device (since the beginning of thinking independently),
but now when logging into my-avast-account via Laptop, the app tells me to register my device first :

>> You don't have any devices connected to your Account yet.
>> Add first device

Well, I am connected to my account via phone (!) just right now.
Doesn't the app recognise the device automatically?
Do I really have to download the android Version of "Avast Free Mobile Security" a second time?

What am I doing wrong ? or didn't I understand the Basics?
how do I Register a cell phone properly?

hope to get an answer + thx in advance

I have the same problem. Did you get help on how to register your device?

I have just got a new phone, installed AMS and linked the new installation of AMS and it shows in my.avast.com account. Try going into the AMS > Tools > Avast Account, it should tell you if you are connected/registered/linked to your Avast Account.

Since I had registered Mine shows I was connected to my avast account - clicking to go to my account.

Whilst it shows my last connection was yesterday, even though I have connected to my.avast.com account using my phone (4G not WiFi), it may just take a little time to update.
