Raze Spyware

My computer has been invaded with Raze Spyware causing my desktop to go red with their ad and taking over pages.  I had Avast on my computer and it did not catch it.  Any help getting rid of it?  I just downloaded Avast again and it still didn't see it.

Raze Spyware appears to be a variant of Spyaxe.  There is some good information, including removal instructions, in the following thread:

Avast! is and excellent antivirus solution.  For spyware try Spybot Search and Destroy, Ad-Aware, and Spyware Blaster (after your system is clean).
