This has been going on for some considerable time before this beta session.

Not only did id initially display some stats, then they cleared, but then you had RAM memory leak and a CPU escalation the longer you kept the avastUI / Stats open.

As far as I can recall the Stats section was going to be removed whilst it was going to be revamped. I don't know

It would not surprise me if they will show that avast has lost a lot of users.

We are talking a totally different statistics 'Your Stats' tab, that in the avastUI doesn't give total number of avast users.

The Global Stats gives number of 'Active Devices' getting updates and that is for Windows, iOS and Android. However those stats are very old Aug 2015 with 221,339,934 and it was descending from a peak of 233,592,668 in Feb 2015.

Somehow the STATS option was removed from TOOLS??

How is one to determine which URLs to ignore, then, eh, while AVAST scans scans scans?

Makes no sense to me at-tall, at all. ???

Many topics on this - it has been removed and will have an update (which I believe it sorely needs) to return in a program update, estimated to be in September.

The old stats were really poor, they didn't retain any meaningful 'detail' the active list of scans or URLs scanned only held 5 lines of data (as can be seen in the image in the first post). By the time you opened the stats all of that data is very likely to be gone.

As to what URLs to avoid, well the ones that avast alerts on, that would be the only criteria, the ones in the stats are no indication that they are suspect/infected, etc. just that they have been scanned.
