Thanks Bob, this is without doubt a right pain in the rear. Whilst it doesn't effect either of my two systems XP Pro SP3 and win7 SP1 32bit (just checked this one again) OSes.
I'm on Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and I use the Free version.

I really don't care what the issue is, I just want it fixed. I don't see why I should waste time trying different temporary solutions when the old non-Nitro version runs just fine. I certainly will not install Nitro for as long as it hasn't been freed of such bugs. But I am sure it will, as the Avast team has never disappointed me in the past.  ;)

Is CyberCapture integrated with Avast just like Virtualization function ? I am asking that because I got my AmiDuos (Android emulator) stopped working after updating avast.

Same thing with NOX android emulator there was an option to disable virtualization in the older version of Avast to allow these to run  but now its missing.

Hi why does my Avast Internet Security eats 50% of my possessor? Yes it is using the latest update as shown below in the images.

Tip, used avast own removal tool (safe mode) clean the registry  (for example cclenaer - not too agressive) and then reinstall IS.

I actually thought about reinstalling it but kept that just as a last resort. I was hopping there will be a better solution.

Hi everybody,
I have got some problems due to the upgrade to Nitro version  (12.1.2272 (build 12.1.3076.0)) with virus database version 160724-0. These are the facts:

On 3/7/16 Nitro was installed via Avast user interface, and I got my PC blocked (BSOD, driver error?). Later on, I ve cleaned it up with aswclear....but I couldnot be able to installl it..BSOD appeared again...
On 22/7/16  I did exactly the same thing and deleted the program with aswclear....but I could not be able to installl it again, because BSOD appeared again. So, finally I gave up and I installed free antivirus..and that worked..after having paid for the full version (Premier)..and still I have got +7 months license!

Pls I need some tips on how to deal with it! Tks!

My system is: MS Windows XP home SP3 running with Athlon II X2 250 processor (3.76GHz), 2GB Ram, 420GB HDD

Hi,
can you send me full dump (c:\windows\memory.dmp) or at least minidump (c:\windows\minidumps) which is created after BSOD?

Thanks,
pm
