Battery Saver is an excellent tool as my battery lasts a full day and a half by using it compared to running out by evening without it.
HOWEVER Battery Saver turns ON Wi-Fi when I power up the Galaxy S4 and does not display the wi-fi icon in notification bar.
Prior it would turn on wi-fi every time I woke the phone. Due to that I uninstalled Battery Saver a month or two ago but recently missed having it so reinstalled hoping the issue had been addressed.
Now Wi-Fi is automatically turned ON when the phone is powered up AND it does not show the wi-fi icon. I manually turn off wi-fi and it seems to stay off.
While this is now just a nuisance it seems unnecessary. Is there a way to change settings in Battery Saver to NOT TURN ON WI-FI?
