Avast is blocking a Photoshop filter.....how to unblock it

It should be added under: Active Protection, File System Shield, Exclusions .. be sure all 3 boxes are checked (R / W / X)

have you rebooted since it happend? ... if not, right click avast tray icon and select show last popup

Thanks, yes I rebooted....always my first option.  Right clicking on the icon brings up the user interface, and I can't find a way to show the latest block, popup, virus, anything.

Right clicking the icon brings up a Menu.
Left clicking brings up the Avast UI.
(It is also possible that you reversed your settings for your mouse. Usually done if you are a lefty.)
