It was $29.95US = $40AU, Bobs discount code deducted $10AU (25%) = $30AU, yes it's a lifetime license.

Perhaps Bobs got too many friends

Any discount would be taken of the product price not any taxes applied.

EDIT: A lot may have to do with the conversion rate at time of purchase, or as you said...Bob has to many friends

No such thing as too many friends.
From a merchandising standpoint, 50% of something is always better than 100% of nothing.

Yes it was done through the Winpatrol website, maybe the 50% discount has ended after the code discount has been pouring in since yesterday

I've just sent an email to Bret to get a reply as to why it wasn't 50% and referred him to this thread.
Let's see what he has to say.

I already have WinPatrol and WinAntiRansom. I was going to purchase WinPrivacy but the discount is proving to be very erratic for me. I wonder if discounts are base on location? Though my location hasn't changed.
