Avast, Google Mail

I cannot sign in to Google mail with avast.  It keeps telling me that I have to enable cookies which they are already.  I have the settings at normal.  I also have it set so that Google is ok and the mail address is ok also. 
One other thing, I cannot click on a video link on Netscape home page and it come up.  Since I have got Avast it will not let me bring up a video.

What is your firewall, guessing ZA Pro with Privacy settings?

avast doesn't block it mearly scans content and alerts if infection found.
