Hello Connor24,
Please do open a support ticket. You can do that by opening the Avast app, then clicking the question mark symbol in the top right corner. A new window will open.
At the bottom of this window you will see a link "send a support request"
After you click that, fill in your email and describe the problem. When you open the ticket, it will also include log files from your PC so we can better understand why this is happening.
Please also post back here with the ticket number. I will make sure it is handled with highest priority.
