A warning

Hi Folks, I recently had trouble on my Laptop and was advised to use Avast.clear and reinstall latest version. This has been done on both my pc's and I believe set the same.
I have been getting an image like this but only on my Laptop when I use the 'Shut down' button in the start menu. I was unable to save a copy of it as I don't have the equipment to do it.
I then got the image below after a restart when updates were installed. Once again, only on my Laptop.

and what do you see if you click advanced in lower left?

Will tell you next time it appears after installing updates and doing a restart.
When it appears on clicking 'Shut down' I can't click anything.
