Sharepoint plugin wont start
« on: January 23, 2006, 02:07:00 PM »
Hi,

Ive installed the SBS edition trial on my MS small business server, and the Sharepoint plug-in is installed but not active, it says it is"waiting for a subsystem to start".

I am running SBS2K3 premium SP1 (exchange 2003, ISA2004, SQL2000, Windows sharepoint services 2.0), I have enabled antivirus scanning in the sharepoint admin console, but scans will not take place. All documents are stopped from being downloaded or uploaded whilst scanning is enabled in sharepoint because no AV scan will take place.

I have the following error in my event log which repeats whenever a document upload is attempted.

Event Type:   Error
Event Source:   Windows SharePoint Services 2.0
Event Category:   None
Event ID:   1000
Date:      23/01/2006
Time:      08:53:23
User:      N/A
Computer:   SERVER
Description:
#960012: Finished loading antivirus scanner. Error -2147221164.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Does anybody have any ideas on how to get the plug-in started and scanning documents?

Mike

Hi, do you have installed Internet Mail provider? Could you please send logs and some screenshots to sedina@avast.com? Many thanks!
