Same problem here with Safeprice ... not even the courtesy of an opt-out screen like we used to get for Chrome. And there's not any provision for removing it (that I could find) in the new Settings/Components section. As others have pointed out, the only workaround is through add/remove/change in the control panel.

In addition, it took 2 or 3 reboots to restore MBAM, Networx, and the (Lenovo) audio manager to active status in my tooltray.
