How do I enable cookies?
« on: August 04, 2016, 07:13:09 PM »
Many sites I visit say that I have cookies disables.  I've looked at settings, but find nothing there.  How do I enable them?

Acceptance of cookies is enabled by default.
There is no need to enable it in the settings.

Yes, I've read the help menu.  If cookies are enabled by default I don't understand why I get messages from some sites, like Gmail and USAA that cookies are not enabled.  I have to go to Internet Explorer to access those sites.

Also, is there any way to be notified when replies to my queries are posted?

Underneath the box where you type your message > attachments and other options

About the cookies, others don't have that problem.
Go over all the settings in the browser and check them.

If you can't find anything strange, perform a repair of avast and see if it solves the problem.
If not, perform a clean installation of avast as this will set everything back to default.

I guess I am not one of the others, as I have this issue, as well. Any updates/progress/info on *especially* gmail...?
