"Cannot create Direct Show Player" error

I installed avast! pro v 4 and now when I go to myspace or any other site w/ embedded videos, I get an error that reads "Cannot create Direct Show Player."  I am using the latest version of Firefox on Windows XP.  Appreciate any help you could give!

Firefox is showing it. I get it also.
