screen rotation

I am beyond frustrated. I have gone into advanced settings and unchecked automatic screen rotation in every profile yet it continues to shut off my gyro. This means that I have to go into the Android settings and turn screen rotation back on while holding my tablet upside down.
What is the problem?

Can you be please more specific about your device and scenario, when does this happen? We have i..e. to freeze orientation on purpose for a while during force stopping apps, but I do not think this is the case.
