« on: February 21, 2019, 04:14:03 PM »
Something in my mac keeps trying to access these websites:
hxxp://qosyzekak.webideaserver.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/87871-operation-overlord-essay.jpg
hxxp://qosyzekak.webideaserver.com/favicon.ico
hxxp://qosyzekak.webideaserver.com/
It always happens on a specific time (2-3 PM in UTC)
It's not causing any issue (so far).
TIA
EDIT: The process is from /System/Library/Frameworks/WebKit.framework/Versions/A/XPCServices/com.apple.WebKit.Networking.xpc/Contents/MacOS/com.apple.webkit.Networking

MODIFIED : http to hxxt to avoid unexpected clicks

Hello,
based on the popups, it seems that you have sometimes in the history opened this page in your browser (or it has been opened within some other page?). The browser sometimes may try to open pages it has previously accessed, especially when you type into the address bar.
I recommend you to clear history of your browsing; this will prevent the browser from opening this page and thus prevents avast from detecting the page again and again. We are sorry but there is no way how we can do this for you automatically.
Kind regards,
