Installing Avast SecureLine in a router
« on: August 14, 2016, 06:04:29 PM »
Today I'm using a competition software for my home VPN that can be installed on Windows, OS and mobile devices, as well as in a router.
It's the same one licence, that I can use in ALL my devices and more conveniente, on my router, so my whole house can have wi-fi secure.
I'm researching on Avast SecureLine and could not find neiter option (1=buy one copy to all your devices, 2=install it on your own wi-fi router).
So, can one have this option available or not?
Thank you

There is currently no cross OS license for avast products but they are working on it.

Thank you Eddie for the info there is no cross platform licence.
Any one else know anything about installing it in a router?
I may not wrote clear on the first post, but I do have a router (buffalo) that accepts settings for VPN. I actually using it now for another VPN provider.
I would like to switch over Avast, but would be important for me that I could install it on the router, so all my Wi-Fi network would be secure.

Comments are appreciated.

avast vpn is not a setting but a tool.
It must be run on a OS.
If your routers runs on e.g. Windows or Android you should be (at least in theory) able to install it.
