help after smart scan
« on: August 21, 2016, 01:36:27 AM »
Hello,

After using smart scan of my paid Avast, 'Performance Issues' are highlighted. 'Resolve' is clicked, but the 'performance Issues' big red x does not go away.

AND, why is help so hard to come by from Avast?

Have you also paid for Avast Cleanup?

The Performance Issues thing is stuff that Avast Cleanup fixes, but while it's component scans as part of the Avast software, it's an extra component to buy a licence for to actually resolve the issues it finds.

If you have paid for Avast Cleanup, you might find some help in the sub-forum for it - https://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=63.0

It is not hard to get help at all.
There is this webboard and there is the ticket system.

It IS hard to get help.

Why do I have to come to this forum for help? Why is there no way to just contact Avast from my account?

I have to idea what the 'Ticket System' is.

I pay for Avast, it has trouble, and I'm doing this?

A complete pain.

What is so hard about opening https://www.avast.com and then clicking on "help and support" ?

The smart scan runs multiple different scans, amongst them is CleanUp.
Things found by CleanUp can only be fixed if you have a license for it.
