Boot Time scan returned to Internet Security version
« on: August 22, 2016, 07:25:25 PM »
I would like to see the option to run a Boot Time scan returned to the Internet Security version.  I do some pc service work and this could help me to help YOU sell more copies of AVAST (the BEST!).  This could also help me with maintaining my machines at home.  I recently encountered a machine at home that had 144 PUP's on it and I had to download MalwareBytes to clean it.  I particularly don't like to use anything but AVAST when I can.  Would a boot time scan have helped?  Please, please consider this.

You need to do some product research first   ;D

It does not give any better detection, only better removal on some malware types

If you have seen avast boot scan detecting PUP that the other scan did not it is because avast PUP detection is default off in all scan except boot scan

what are PUP

You can also enable PUP scanning from within individual scan settings.
