Avast support tool reports incompatibility issues in Windows 10
« on: September 24, 2016, 08:25:27 PM »
I tried out Avast support tool for the first time since upgrading into Windows 10, and it shows a notification of my computer having software that might interfere with Avast. However, the only softwares I have on my PC are Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit, which should work fine with Avast. Also, my Windows 10 settings say Windows Defender is not active. So, what could cause support tool to report incompabilities? It doesn't show me information on what program it's actually refering to, it only gives me an article about different antiviruses that could conclide with Avast, none of which I have. And I haven't done any kind of software installations after Windows 10 upgrade, where I did not have any compatibility issues reported.

If Avast is working, you can safely ignore it.
