AVAST SHREDDER AND FILES IN THE WINDOWS 10 RECYCLE BIN
« on: December 24, 2020, 01:35:58 AM »
Hi... a Q about the Avast shredder.... is it possible to shred selected items in the Windows 10 Pro recycle bin ?  If so, I haven't found a way to do so.. When I right click on the recycle bin on the desktop I see the option to shred it but I do not want to shred everything at once.
My Q really stems from a prior Q about the recycle bin... Does anyone know if a file that has been deleted in the recycle bin can be reconstructed by someone? If so, this raises a possible security issue hence my Q about Avast Shredder..

Thank Brianh

No, it's all or nothing.

If you open the recycle bin, right click on the item, you get the following options,
