If it is stopped and the service indicated stopped and disabled, then it is and what you are seeing isn't windows messenger but something (malware) trying to look like it.

 :)  Hi Squall :

There appears to be numerous suspicious items in your
HJT log ( C:\winsysbans5.exe, gimmygames, etc ) AND
since doc_esb has NOT made a 2nd post AND you appear
to have Spybot S & D, I would encourage you to ask their
Experts for help at : http://forums.spybot.info . There has
been a recent "security alert" about Winamp and unless
you have the latest version ( 5.13 ), it should be removed
and that 5.13 version installed .

Files deleted from the system folders, including viruses often end up in the system volume information folder unless system restore is disabled, just windows being helpful ;D thinking you might just have made a mistake you might want to restore ;D

Disable system restore, this will clear ALL restore points, reboot, scan again and if clear enable system restore.

Read the info from the link in my signature DropMyRights as to how you can stop viruses/malware being able to put files in the system folders.

This entry also looks suspicious to me ...

O2 - BHO: Trecker Class - {39C78B50-7E98-4aa0-B007-D83114EA6E0F} - C:\PROGRA~1\Jalmp\jalmp.dll

... but some say it could be legitimate if that is what you want it to do.

Read these 2 and decide for yourself if this is useful or not.
