Avast Business Free Web Console Login Account Requirement
« on: September 12, 2016, 02:59:49 PM »
ABF Web Console Login requires Facebook & Gmail Account only?

I was creating an account with Outlook & registration mentioned account already exists so I selected cannot login & password change link was sent to my Outlook account.
I changed the password & was automatically logged into Web Console BUT the prob is after logging out I cannot log-in back & it mention invalid username or password. This happens everytime i.e I select cannot log-in & change password with link sent to email & I am automatically logged into console But after logging out & retrying logging it mention invalid username & password. I tried with browser password save too & same invalid username & password.

So only Gmail or Facebook is allowed & Outlook or any other not allowed or any other prob?

And any difference between Avast Home Free & Avast Business Free?

I mean ABF provides file/web/mail shield, so any difference like local signs, other protection, etc... as ABF is called cloud protection?

And there is no activation option in ABF GUI, is it required to activate in console or console is only for like remote usage & activation in console is not required?

I tried Outlook & Gmail account.

I guess had this prob previously too. Coz when I tried Gmail account it mentioned already exist. And I select cant login & password change link was sent to my email. I changed password & was automatically logged in.

The prob is after logging out & retrying logging in I always get username or password invalid. And only way to login is to select cant login & follow the procedure mentioned above.

Any info/help please?

I suggest you start with reading the FAQ about avast free for home users and the FAQ for AFB (cloud).

So you cannot add devices if you already have an installer i.e is it required to download the installer from the console to add the devices?

And is adding devices & activating it in console required for ABF to function fully?
