Avast Confirmation of Upgrade

Back in July 2016 I downloaded Avast Free and then the next month I opted for the Upgrade.  My credit card statement showed that my payment went through, but I have never received any confirmation notice from Avast saying that they received my payment or that I would be receiving the upgrade.  What gives???

You should have gotten the confirmation by email.
It can be that you made a typo in your email address.

You don't receive a upgrade, you receive a activation code and/or license file that you need to use.
You can get the license file through your avast account or through https://www.avast.com/resend-license-paid.php
