Cancel a subscription
« on: September 16, 2016, 05:58:00 PM »
Hi

A year ago, I accepted a one-month free trial of Avast CleanUp by mistake.
Then I managed to cancel it.
However, it seems that it did not stop the anual automatic license renovation (no idea there was something like that)
so now you have "renovated" my license and I don't want it.
I access here: https://store.avast.com/DRHM/store?Action=DisplayRightOfWithdrawalPage&SiteID=avast&Locale=es_ES&ThemeID=38044100&Env=BASE to cancel it, but is seems it's not the right address.

Could you please tell me how to cancel that subscription for once and for all? And get refund for that license I don't need?

Bests

For refunds requests you need to contact avast > https://support.avast.com

Please (re)search before posting.
Things like this have been explained many times already.

The experts on this forum have been incredibly helpful but with all due respect, it shouldn't be so difficult to cancel a subscription.  Having to open a support ticket to do something that has the appearance of an automated "just click here" function that doesn't work does not inspire confidence, especially when it feels like your credit card is being held hostage and you're at the mercy of a ticket.   I think you want to make sure you maintain the confidence of your customers or you'll start to lose them, especially where their credit cards are concerned.

It is not hard at all to cancel the auto-renewal.
There is also no need to submit a ticket to cancel it.
