An apology
« on: September 17, 2016, 01:41:01 PM »
Yesterday evening I responded in an angry and inappropriate manor to Pondus, one of the regular participants in this forum.  I wasn't aware of the situation here in the forums, but that's no excuse.  Although I'm usually a reasonable and accommodating individual, occasionally I seem to able to behave like a real *sshole.  You may have noticed.

My apologies and thanks to all who gave me advice and helped with the (rather simple) problem I was having with Avast.

Cheers,
BAB

BAB, thanks for keeping the forum atmosphere.
By the way, which was the situation that you said as "I wasn't aware of the situation here in the forums"?

That forum members were just that and not employed by Avast.  The dynamics in that type situation are more open, like people talking around a table rather than taking calls on a help line.  A situation I actually prefer, as long as other members will talk to me :).

We enjoy "talking" helping others, that's why we're here.
Most of us started here because we had a problem and some of us have stayed because we liked the response and help we received.
Welcome to the forum. :)
