Ofcourse it is possible to remove them manually.
But removing files/folders  might not be enough.
Registry entries also need to be removed.

I could clean up the registry, and deleted most of the files. However, couldn't delete files from c:\windows\WinSxS folder. And, actually these changes didn't helped. Os still can't start in usual mode. I can't restore it using corresponds options in windows. I even can't reset it to factory settings

If you can't even perform a factory restore (assuming you tried it correctly) changes are you have a hardware problem.

Did you try the in-place-repair ?
If so and it failed, perform a clean installation of Windows.
