Is there a way to exclude Steam from Avast?
« on: October 18, 2016, 04:31:34 AM »
Hi everyone, is there a way to exclude Steam client from Avast?

Whenever Steam is downloading, Avast eats all my CPU time. I have tried excluding the entire Steam folder but it seems not working. Is there any trick or special setting to exclude Steam?

This is bad for your pc protection without steaming updates. It is a very important part of avast Security network. Your computer your choose. :) avast is became weak without this against new threats.Go to update and untick enabled steaming updates.Maybe something else eats your CPU,make sure...

You're mixing things up. The OP is talking about Steam not streaming updates. ;)
