No access to scan area
« on: September 24, 2016, 10:25:33 PM »
I don't know why and how, but the scan area where you can choose what type of scan you want to perform is missing for me. It used to be accessible almost from the top and as you see there is nothing.
How could this be?

It isn't just the Scan icon missing from the UI home page, there are a number of other icons (more than mine if you have installed more functions) and the Try Premium.

Try an avast Repair and reboot.

Have you got any other security based software installed (firewall, anti-spyware, etc.) ?

no extra security software is running side by side with Avast, only free version of Malwarebytes and Superatispyware. There are no sign of viruses and only malwares are detected.
