Avast preventing mail from being sent

We are running Outlook 2016 with Office 365 on Windows 7 32-bit systems. We are having random and intermittent issues of mail getting stuck in the Outbox until the Avast Add-in is disabled in Outlook 2016.

Anyone else having this issue?
