"PUP and suspicious" files or just "PUP" ?
« on: October 01, 2016, 08:30:55 AM »
I've just realized setting for PUP's says "PUP and suspicious files". Can someone from avast! team elaborate this? Does this mean it actually affects just PUP detections or is the "suspicious" part affecting other detections as well, like those with [Susp] tag? Because for real-time stuff I don't want PUP detections, but I still want suspicious stuff being detected like any other.

The suspicious part sounds like a kind of behavior check to me.
Perhaps it has something to do with the CyberCapture option.
