Cannot canel autorenew
« on: October 05, 2016, 09:21:18 AM »
Hi everyone I have tried cancelling my auto renewal using both the preferred and alternative methods oulined on this page

https://www.avast.com/faq.php?article=AVKB126

Using the preferred method does not work with the order id and password avast has emailed me, it just keeps telling me "Order Search Results
Invalid information "

When I try the alternative method the "cancel automatic renewal" link does not exist under the "activation code" and "download license" buttons like it is supposed to.

Here is a screenshot showing the nonexistent cancel link

Could some one from Avast please help me, I shouldnt have to cancel my credit card just to stop autorenewal

Please (re)search before posting.

I guess it was the auto-renewal.
It takes place with your approval as you agreed to it while ordering.
Next to that, there where 3(!) mails send to you that is was upcoming  giving you enough time to cancel the auto-renewal if you wished to do so.
Ofcourse Paypal isn't gonna do anything about it as it is a perfectly normal and legal transaction.
Only thing you can do (as has been explained many times already) is contacting avast and ask for a refund.
