Infection blocked! Can't identify source...

I get multiple notices of 'Infection Blocked! Avast Web shield has blocked a threat'  while in Safari - always the same threat, regardless of what I am doing (see attached).  How do I get rid of the threat and stop the notices?

Never mind!  I see that my issue is a malicious URL in my Safari Favorites.   I've deleted the (old) URL and don't see the warnings anymore.
