Where are you getting the installer from ?

Corruption can be caused by many things.
Amongst them are (not limited to)
- the developer made a mistake
- a hickup somewhere between the server and your system
- a real tine power hickup in your system
- bad sector on your harddrive
etc.

Getting from Avast website. Well, this sometimes occurs when I put Avast installer on my external hdd, turning my PC off and next day when I run it either from that external hdd or copying on the desktop, it is corrupted. I know it's not Avast problem but I first noticed this for the Avast installer exe, so wanted to check here first.

Indeed, seems it's not the Avast server error.
