Is there a way to turn OFF those scanner messages that pop-up from the sys-tray, or at least set it so it only shows higher risk info?

Have you been tweaking avast's resident scanners, this 'Show detailed info on performed actions' if off by default ?



You will need to uncheck it for each of the providers changed.
