Problem: After having the machine running a few days ( it doubles as a game server ) avast IS will randomly jump to 30-40% CPU usage, and audio will start clipping, frame rates in games will tank. Often occurs while watching youtube or playing music in the background. Pausing everything often clears the issue after a few minutes, sometimes not. Program is updated weekly-ish, scans run weekly, more often as needed alongside other AV programs.( Not at the same time of course, that would be silly.) Process is Avast! Service (32 bit). Mouse movement unaffected. Audio drivers are up to date.
