Desktop shortcuts

after downloading then un-installing the Avast safezone browser. I can not get my shortcuts on the desktop to work. I tried to re-install them ,but no go. How do I get control of my desktop back? I had to re-install the browser to get them working again.

What shortcuts are you talking about ?
The ones for avast or other applications ?

What OS/SP ?
What exact version of avast ?
What version of the SafeZone Browser ?
How did you remove it ?

All internet related shortcuts.. I get this after a reboot of system. When SafeZone browser has been removed as directed by Avast. Avast>settings>components>SafeZone Browser>remove component. I'm using Win 7 Ultimate. The versions avast build 12.3.3154.19. The SafeZone I don't know, I removed it.. but it was only downloaded in the last week or so.

Did you set another browser as your default ?
It looks as if Windows doesn't know what to use to open a link.

On a note :
That site doesn't seem to know what "4 on the floor" is.
It says blues but that is wrong.
It is disco and "invented" by Nile Rodgers
