So hardened mode no longer has moderate/aggressive settings?
Nope, it's still there.
I some pics of the GUI, it is no longer there, but when I upgraded my PC it was there.
See pic here and there's "Enable Hardened Mode" with no sub-menu under it to check.

You need to tick the box to see the sub-menu. ;)

You guys just transplanted new skin on top of broken things. Hardened Mode STILL auto enables PUP detection and messes it up all. WHY?

With all due respect, I like this GUI better than the last few years. A lot better than v11.xxx.

1) The color is easy on the eyes. Navigation is getting better, not perfect though.
2) The shield and checkmark remind me of an old AVG product I once had. (Some AVG influence perhaps.)
3) Had to reboot several times for 2281 to stick. GUI kept crashing/failed to open, protection wouldn't start.
4) GUI is way too freaking big/large/huge. No way to resize the GUI window.
5) USB/DVD scan should be automatic. This has been needed for a long time.
6) Finally getting the tabs back on the left-hand side of the GUI. Should be more tabs as in v7.0
7) Help file should be built-in for off line use.

Yeah, avast! is messing up webpages. Either AOS or Web Shield. They just don't load properly or entirely. Most do, but not all.
