Obviously they have their hands full of work so I don't see a problem with January release.

I rather see a more stable product. People must really research how software is made ;) its not like they are artificially delaying it.

True, but what others mentioned/criticised was that AVG is updated prior to Avast.

I also expected Avast to be updated first but we will have to wait really. Releasing a BETA the previous month for Avast and not continuing with it wasn't the smartest move imo.

1. It failed to prevent a malware from running (Intentional test Image.exe)
2. The real time shield is not working.
3. Full system scan does not work.
4. Boot time scan does not initiate.

1.Can you provide Virus Total result of  that file?
2,3,4.Did you try repair?
PC- Windows10 EDU 64Bit,avast! free 21.1.2449,uBlock Origin,NVT_OSA,GoogleChrome(64bit),CCleaner,Unchecky,ZAM Free,Shadow Defender.

Yes, I tried repair a while ago and the scan issue was still there. Thus decided to go back to a stable version.
After the scan with the stable free edition, it found over 70 Infections! which slipped through the beta.

I can't find the file again since i have since completely removed that from the system. A reference can be found here

In early January sledushchego year and the release of the final plan by the end of January or beginning of February. Something in this framework.
