What is the extra $5.25 for???

I am trying to purchase a renewal to my plan. First it gives a sub-total of NZ$34.99 which I am happy with. Then when I put in my payment details and go to pay, it now has a total of NZ$40.24. What on earth is the extra $5.25 for, as it doesn't give a reason for this anywhere??? It's not like you are sending the software to me in the post....I don't want to purchase until I know what this extra cost is for, as it seems totally unjustified

Prices mentioned are as Asyn guessed, without tax/fat/btw (naming depends on the country you live in ofcourse)
You will see the total price of the subscription at the final overview, just before you can confirm the order.

In some countries or under certain circumstances you can get the tax back.
To find out, contact your local tax administration and ask.
