Avast SOA don't detect pc on active directory
« on: November 16, 2016, 03:46:19 PM »
Hi,

I've just bought a one year licence for 5 pc (to begin) on Small Office Admisitration with EndPoint Protection Plus.
It's work, but actually SOA view only pc in workgroup. I've an active directory on Windows 2000 server (sic !), and these pc aren't discovered.
But if i do an install directly from the client, SOA tell me there is a clint who is trying to connect but he can't because it's not in list. Si I click on clear the problem, and SOA auto add this pc,
without any problem.

So the question is : why the discovered task don't see the pc in my AD ?
Where i can see log of this task (or any error message ?).

Thanks.

Run the discovery task, make sure you specify a valid domain account with permission to read from the directory on the win2K server.

However for only 5 PCs, I would create the computer Manually.
