Antivirus Firms Unite Against Microsoft Push for Windows Defender in Windows 10

PS: Would be interesting to get a statement from Avast..!!
It would be since they are as affected as the rest of the AV's
Right now the only way to use the current Preview Release Builds is to totally remove Avast.

FYI, Avast has been quite involved in this case also, although we don't have any public statements to be made right now and we don't necessarily agree with the tone of Eugene's original blog post.

But we do think that the proposed changes in the next version of Windows 10 are against customer's interests, and pose a danger of decreasing the overall security situation of the Windows ecosystem as a whole.

Thanks

Thanks for the feedback Ondrej,
Can you go into more detail regarding the planned changes and how they effect the overall security ???
