Question: Why is ashwebsv.exe keep crashing?
I've recently reloaded my system using WINXP Pro with SP1. I've then updated XP to SP2 and installed the latest Avast Home Edition. Now I get a message that "ashwebsv.exe " is crashing.
I thought that SP2 was the culprit so I reloaded and did not install SP2. Except for the SP2 upgrade, this is a configuration I've run for the last year with no problems.
Same problem.
Anybody have any clue as to why this is happening.
The only new software on the system is the Firewall. It's called "FilseClab" I used to run Sygate, but it's now discontinued so I've started using Filseclab.
Please let me know if anyone has run across this problem and any possible fixes.
