0000A474 errors also (a ton of them)

Lately, any e-mail message the contained graphics generates two errors (which is really clogging up my inbox):

[SERVER]: AAVM - scanning error: x_AavmCheckFileDirectEx: avfilesScanReal of USER/Inbox/Microcawps Can Equal Mega Gains.EML/accustomedness.3.gif failed, 0000A474.

AND

[SERVER]: AAVM - scanning warning: x_AavmCheckFileDirectEx: user/Inbox/Microcawps Can Equal Mega Gains.EML/accustomedness.3.gif (C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\Vx2C8B0.tmp) returning error, 0000A474.


Any suggestions?

I've seen this problem before and a reboot seems to help but that is a hassle.

I forgot to mention, this is for Avast 4 for Windows Small Business Server running the Exchange 2003 On-Access Scanner scanning at transport level.

Hi,

this is actually just a warning (not an error, really). It means that there was a problem in one of the avast engines while accessing this file - which is typically caused by a fact that the file format is not quite right...

Generally, you can ignore those (the protection should work regadless of them). But I understand they're nuisance...
