What are you talking about ???

You have to look at his other posts, in the Polski sub-forum, he is experiencing the same problems of Shields running in the background being turned off.

He has had a response and has replied to that - the problem could be previous AV - McAfee was uninstalled, but there may be remnants. https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=195187.0

Yes, but given there is only a link (and a shortcut one at that) and no text to indicate what is on that link.
e.g. "How to successfully install Avast and ensure you remove old third-party antivirus software first" etc.
