silent uninstall using a command prompt (Avast Free)
« on: December 02, 2016, 09:50:50 PM »
There is a need to remove avast so that the user didn't notice. Is it possible to quietly remove Avast Free via calling delete in CMD. My attempts ended at the start of the line from the registry (uninstallstring) with keys /control_panel /uninstall, but AVAST requires a second delete confirmation. QUESTION: is There a universal key start silent uninstall AVAST?

If there was such a thing it would be a godsend for malware - the idea is to make it hard for malware to disable/uninstall avast - I can think of no reason why it would be necessary "to remove avast so that the user didn't notice."

Even though your English is hard to understand, the answer is still the same.

Setup the systems correctly so that users can't install/remove things.

It's not going to change the answer but you may be able to communicate easier.

It would be possible to use the uninstall utility and have it scripted to run via some enterprise deployment tool. However any attempt to uninstall by other means would be blocked by the self defense module I would think
