Avast cleanup
« on: December 04, 2016, 12:38:02 PM »
:-\ I can't understand why I would be forced to pay for a cleanup when I Already have paid for Avast which includes malware scanning and cleaning, but ignores all treats in the caches and alike. Ok, if I'm willing to accept a lot of ad's it's free, but when Avast do its scanning it warns against apps which use the same methods as cleanup!! I can't believe /understand the logic here. That's why I gave Avast the thumbs down, but in fairness I'm giving you the thumbs up for the pro Antivirus App with the above reservation.

You are not forced to pay for CleanUp, but ofcourse you will have to pay for it if you want to use it.

avast (the malware scanner/remover) is completely different from CleanUp.
Both do different things.

And yes, avast can flag apps that are similar to CleanUp and it will do so if they are malicious, perform suspicious activities and/or are PUP's.
