You will also have to convince David as to the accuracy and reliability of these statistics.
Even I have my doubts on those two factors.  ;D

All we have to do now is convince DavidR that Windows 7 is the best!  ;)
You really are a total f*****g plonker, it begins to grate when every time someone mentions XP or win7 you start this crap about me. Now Pi** off and get off that bandwagon.

I couldn't give a stuff what is going on in the USA or worldwide market share where XP still has nearly 60% depending on which set of statistics you view. I don't care what others think I make my choice on what best suits me not what statistics say.

In case you had forgotten I have win7 on my netbook and personally I prefer XP Pro.

Why exactly David? What do you miss in Windows 7 that you have on XP? (of course, in the same hardware)

I don't miss anything in windows7 and obviously they aren't on the same hardware, so couldn't comment.

I honestly don't feel there was ever a killer feature in win7 that I need/must have or don't already have in XP or can't get from another application. Yes there are some nice things, but would I pay over £100 to update to win7, absolutely not.

If my personal s*dd**g forum stalker would purchase a legitimate retail copy of window 7 Pro for me then I might just consider upgrading, otherwise he can sod off.

I see. I consider, after all, that software evolution and updates/upgrades will be always there. We can live without the last upgrades. But they will be released for an economic reason, market reason, technological reason... It's life flow :)

And when my system no longer meets my requirements I will change it and at that point I will make my decision on what OS to choose (could well be windows 8 by then), without the need for my own personal forum stalker.

Sure. And I will stay with x32 Windows until I get Windows 8 x64 and "he" will continue to complain against my system :P

Top 10 Micro-Apps for Windows and Mac OS X
Most of those I think are really not needed but I did download the one called Fences and I really like it. You can organize your desktop icons into labeled groups in any way you want and hide or show them by simply double clicking on the desktop. It's pretty nice.
